Fotona Green Toning with Pico Laser
Green toning is a treatment using our state of the art Fotona Starwalker picosecond laser at set parameters to even out skin tone, reduce pores and assist with firming. We use our Fotona Starwalker laser uses a dual-wavelength machine that enables us to treat pigmentation, including sun damage and melasma, as well as reduce pore size and improve skin tone and texture with the longer wavelength laser and to treat redness, flushing conditions such as rosacea and poklioderma of Civattee and superficial freckly skin with the shorter wavelength laser.
Green toning laser treatment is suitable for fairer skin types, and is predominantly targeting varying depths of pigment and in the skin and haemoglobin in fine capillaries. It does so by lightly breaking up the pigment so the body can remove it via its natural pathways and heating the internal walls of capillaries to shut it down, thus also improving flushing and capillaries under the skin.
There is minimal discomfort or downtime with this treatment, but initially, there may be some darkening of your pigment spots or freckles. You may need a course of 3-4 treatments at monthly intervals. Over the course of your treatments you will see a reduction in pigment spots finer healthier looking skin and reduction of capillaries and flushing, be it on the face, De-Collatage area of your limbs where you had the treatment.
