Coolsculpting is a walk-in, walk-out non-surgical fat reduction treatment by a treatment called Cryolipolysis, or simply freezing the fat. An applicator is applied to the problem area and a strong suction sucks the area to be treated into a chamber and the treatment area is gradually cooled to the therapeutic temperature. There are no needles cannulas or knives in the treatment, thus truely it’s non-surgical. Each treatment cycle normally takes about an hour. The results are normally seen after 3-5weeks with maximum results seen 3 months after the procedure. The number of treatments you might need varies but normally significant improvements are seen after 2 to 3 treatments spaced about 1-2 months apart.
